The events of February 24, 2022 caught me at home in the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv. Run away or stay? How long will the city be able to resist the enemy? How to survive the war days together with the family? I decided to stay and join volunteering. Although then we had to evacuate. All the events that took place in Mykolaiv passed through my heightened feelings, changing, melting, transforming me from an ethnic Ukrainian into a conscious Ukrainian. This is exactly what my book is about.
