Global Media and Information Literacy Week is taking place in Ukraine from October 25 to 29. The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine makes every effort to ensure that media literacy becomes the most important state component.
In the framework of Global Media and Information Literacy Week Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi holds a number of thematic events with the participation of readers. Also attention is being given to keeping with all quarantine measures and requirements.
On October 28, active users of the library services learned to recognize fake news, distinguish real photos from fake ones.
For a more detailed visualization of the event, a set of posters donated to the library within the project "Learn and Distinguish: Information Media Literacy" of the Council for International Research and Exchanges (IREX) in partnership with the Ukrainian Library Association was used.
