Lviv Regional Library for Youth named after Roman Ivanchuk presented the publication to the M.L. Kropyvnytskyi Central City Library. Last Tuesday, when the action #ЩедрийВівторок ended, employees of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi expressed hope that readers and friends will continue to take part in the permanent action "Give a book to the library."

Unexpected and pleasant gift to our team was made by colleagues, winners of the all-Ukrainian competition "Library of the Year" - employees of the Lviv Regional Library for Youth named after Roman Ivanychuk. They donated a unique edition to the fund of our library - the book "The Ark Ukraine".

The art-book "The Ark Ukraine " will take our readers on a fascinating journey through millennia of Ukrainian history and culture. The book is really alive and tells the reader our Ukrainian history.

The unique publishing project contains all the cultural heritage of Ukraine under its cover - artifacts of traditional culture, masterpieces of professional art, symbols and archetypes, historical and prominent cultural figures - all that can have the status of "Brand of Ukraine".

This popular art publication reloads cultural stereotypes about Ukraine, demonstrates the scale and grandeur of all its cultural heritage, reveals to the general public unique cultural artifacts known only to a narrow circle of specialists. According to Yaryna Vynnytska, the author of the publication: "If every Ukrainian knew about his culture at least what is contained in this book, we would live in a completely different country - so this book should definitely be memorized."

"The deluxe edition was published with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.

We are sincerely grateful to our colleagues - employees of the Lviv Regional Library for Youth named after Roman Ivanychuk for such a gift. Congratulations on winning the all-Ukrainian competition "Library of the Year". It is symbolic that the art-book "The Ark Ukraine" appeared in our library in the year of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine. We invite our readers to the library to get acquainted with the book, " said the director of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi Inha Khorzhevska.
