December 3 is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. And today an unusual event dedicated to beauty, talent and strength of spirit took place in the Central City Library named after M.L.Kropyvnytskyi. The Regional Charitable Foundation "Kindness and Trust" under the leadership of the tireless and charming Valentina Tkachenko presented the social project - "Ukrainian Woman Special Soul".

Each project of the regional charitable foundation is unique and concerns about the topic of inclusion of children and their parents and has no analogues in Ukraine. So the presented project was no exception! Everyone involved in the creation of the calendar 2022, where the main characters are mothers of special children, gathered in the library. 12 mothers - 12 stories about their children - 12 diagnoses. These women are incredibly beautiful and purposeful mothers who everyday, in spite of everything, find beauty in themselves, their children, reveal the talents of children and their own ones.

Today's presentation is a statement that there are many families in our city raising children with special needs. The project of the Foundation carries light, warmth, and most importantly - an important message to society. It was supported by a team of professionals, creative and caring people who were inspired by the idea of creating such a calendar. Among them well-known citizens - Artem Svistun, director of the Mykolaiv Art Academic Russian Drama Theatre , the photographer Serhii Bulkin, the director of the Mykolaiv Municipal Academic College Lyidmila Bulatova, the deputy of City Council Yurii Stepanets.

The deputy of the City Council Hanna Nord addressed the participants of the project with a welcoming speech.

The atmosphere of the meeting was sincere in emotions, friendly and warm. Each heroine received a calendar, souvenir, flowers and an incredible charge of energy.

Today's event is a call not to be indifferent to families with special children, not to procrastinate with acts of kindness and support.
