Throughout May, the Central City Library named after M.L.Kropyvnytskyi will join the events within the framework of the intercultural festival "Mykolaiv. We are different. We are together!".
Its component will be a festival of national cuisine, fairy tales and legends.
The cycle of book and culinary Saturdays "For all tastes!" is a joint project of the library and the Mykolaiv City Council of National Societies. The event will be held in partnership with the Department of Education and Science of the Mykolaiv RMA and Iryna Hudym publishing house . There will be two locations: adult and children's one.
"At the children's location children will get acquainted with fairy tales and traditions. Games and even cartoons of the national community that we will represent directly on this day. And adults will have the opportunity to learn more about the life of national societies that exist in Mykolaiv. In particular, they will get acquainted with books and symbols. And they will also taste delicious dishes that the guests of the library will treat them," says the director of the Marko Kropyvnytskyi Library, Honored Journalist of Ukraine Inha Khorzhevska.
On the first Saturday, folk traditions, dishes, fairy tales, and clothing were presented by the Mykolaiv Regional Organization of Greeks "New Hellas" and the Union of Armenians of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv Region.
