The title of the exhibition “The World Through the Eyes of a Master” speaks for itself. It is an opportunity to see the world through the prism of a talented soul who works with wood as with a living material.
The exhibition includes over 30 works: decorative panels, small sculptures, plates, trays, exquisite boxes, and subject compositions. Geometric and floral and plant ornaments, stylish precision, and deep symbolism — all of this immerses the viewer in the world of Ukrainian tradition, nature, and the beauty of the southern region.
Oleksandr Rassolov is a native of Mykolaiv who has dedicated over 30 years to teaching the art of woodcarving. A teacher-methodologist, author of curricula and manuals, he has raised more than one generation of talented children at the Academy of Children's Creativity.
Since 2022, he has been an active participant in the CAA "Art-Spokusa", constantly participating in charity projects and exhibitions in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the opening of the exhibition, the artist presented the defenders with his own carved amulets.
This is the master's fourth solo exhibition during the war, which is being held with the support of the Central City Library named after M. Kropyvnytskyi.
We sincerely congratulate pan Oleksandr on this important event!
We wish him peace, creative inspiration and new exhibitions!
