This is the seventh event of the "Seasons of the Year" art project, which is being implemented as part of the library's 125th-anniversary campaign in collaboration with the "Art-Spokusa" Cultural and Artistic Association.
The exhibition includes more than 20 works by seven artists from Mykolaiv and the region:
Tetiana Veremiienko, Viktor Khiznychenko, Svitlana Boikova-Kaliuzhna, Liudmyla Hatsura, Oksana Davydova, Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine Tetiana Uliankina, and Alla Bondareva from the Bashtanka community.
Autumn chrysanthemums, juicy watermelons, ripe apples, bunches of grapes, and bright pumpkins came to life on the canvases. The art gallery seemed to fill with the aromas of a bountiful autumn. The symbolic centerpiece of the exhibition was the Berehynia-Autumn — in an embroidered shirt and a floral wreath, holding the gifts of the harvest in her hands.
The festive atmosphere was enhanced by Honored Artist of Ukraine and holder of the Badge of Honor "Star of Culture of the City of Mykolaiv," Oleksandr Sychov, whose musical works added a special sound to the opening.
This day was truly generous — with emotions, inspiration, smiles, and gifts.
