A meeting with the famous Ukrainian marine writer, Anton Sanchenko, took place at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding .
The event was held as part of the "Veshtanka na Buzi" Book and Reading Festival, which unites writers, readers, and all who love books.
The author told the students and lecturers about his journey in literature, the combination of the sea and writing, and his own experience in sailing, which became the basis for many of his works.
Those present had the opportunity to learn how sea stories are born, what inspires the author to write, and also to discuss modern Ukrainian prose, translation, and the role of literature in preserving national identity.
The meeting took place in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. There were many questions, jokes, and even short, improvised "sea stories" from Pan Anton.
