The event was held with the support of the Mykolaiv Regional Center of Social Services. The instructor for this session was Valentyna Kryvtsova, Head of the Cultural and Artistic Association (KMA) "Art-Spokusa" and Merited Worker of Culture of Ukraine.
On this day, the library's art location was filled with special warmth and light — from festive emotions, music, sincere smiles, and kind wishes. As it was the final workshop of the year, the panis greeted one another, exchanged gifts, and created a festive mood with their own hands.
Each participant crafted the main gift for her Christmas table herself. With great inspiration, the panis worked with birch wood slices, mounting decorative glass containers adorned with lace. These became the home for the symbol of the holiday — the Christmas light.
Every composition was unique: pine cones, fir branches, festive baubles, and bright gift ornaments were harmoniously combined with walnuts — a symbol of robust health. For fragrance, they added cinnamon sticks, star anise, and grapefruit slices. The final touch included Christmas bows, delicate "snowflakes," and sisal, which added volume and coziness to the arrangements.
At the end, each participant lit her own candle — a symbol of hope, love, and peace. It felt as though a true fairy tale had come to visit, filling the space with the sincere spirit of Christmas.
