The exhibition includes 15 original works by Mykolaiv artists — Liubov Nikolaieva, Olena Korkishko, Ihor Kalinin, and Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine Tetiana Uliankina.
Visitors viewed monochrome still lifes and narrative compositions, as well as pastel graphics where color blends harmoniously with the elegance of lines.
During the opening, guests learned more about the creative process, the underlying meanings, and the dual interpretation of images, which reveals the depth of each presented work.
A special part of the event featured poetry readings by Tetiana Uliankina. It was during the war that the artist created her original poetic graphics, which vividly reflect the events in Ukraine. Through rhymed lines and iconic symbols, she tells stories of people, specific events, and Ukrainian traditions. These poetic "pysankas" are like letters from the present to the future...
The exhibition will run until early May, so we invite everyone interested to visit and experience the atmosphere of art that speaks the language of lines, symbols, and meanings.
* The event took place within the "Art alphabet" exhibition project, organized in cooperation with the "Art-spokusa" NGO CAA.
