The goal of the project is to introduce visitors to talented folk art masters and artists of Mykolaiv and the region, reveal the features of various types of art, and preserve and popularize the cultural heritage of our region.

The "Carving & Straw weaving" exhibition features works by Mykolaiv artists — members of the "Art-spokusa" Cultural and Artistic Association— who convey the beauty and originality of traditional Ukrainian decorative and applied arts through their work.

Straw weaving at the exhibition is presented by Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine Liubov Paraniuk. Her works represent a fine weaving of love for Ukrainian traditions, the history of agriculture, and respect for cultural heritage.

Wood carving is presented by Oleksandr Rassolov. His original works trace the development of the art of carving from traditional forms to modern interpretations, while the variety of techniques and decorative solutions demonstrates the endless possibilities of working with wood.

The flavor of Southern Ukraine lends a special mood to the exposition — a richness of ornaments, natural motifs, and a warm yellow-gold palette.

The exhibition has become another opportunity to see how alive, modern, and relevant traditional Ukrainian crafts can be when seen through the creativity of contemporary artists.

We thank the masters for preserving traditions, for their creativity, and for the opportunity to touch Ukrainian culture through art!
